Space, Rhythm and Colour

Regular Rhythm

Regular Rhythm is a series of the same shape in a continuous repeating pattern that flows throughout. This is shown in the Diagram i created above.

Flowing Rhythm
Flowing Rhythm is a serious a random but similar shapes flowing a different directions and ways. The do not have to be orderly and can be random or spontaneous.
This is shown in the Diagram i created above.

Progressive Rhythm

Progressive Rhythm is a collection of the same shape gradually progressing in size and position. It can make the design look 3d and give some depth to it as a whole.
This is shown in the Diagram i created above.

Space

Yin Yang
I made this Yin Yang in Illustrator. It is a very good example of positive and negative space in terms of design and meaning.  Also it shows the contrast between the Darkness and Light.

Deep Space

I made this Landscape in Illustrator. Its an example of deep space and the effect that it gives. Things that are further away will be smaller whereas things that are closer will be bigger.

Colour

This is a colour wheel i created in photoshop. It is a very useful thing to have as it helps you determine that relationships between opposite colours.
